Every Bloom Host server comes with industry-leading DDoS protection included at no extra cost. As of 2026, DDoS attacks have reached enormous sizes, with attacks exceeding 30 Tbps. Most game hosts provide basic DDoS protection that does not have the capacity to mitigate modern DDoS attacks, leaving their entire networks vulnerable.
At Bloom Host, we are proud to be one of the only hosts protected by Cloudflare Magic Transit while also implementing additional Layer 7 filtering.
All locations except Germany are protected by Cloudflare Magic Transit, providing 400+ Tbps of Layer 3/4 DDoS mitigation — the largest DDoS protection network in the world.
Germany is currently protected by ~5 Tbps of L3/L4 mitigation and is scheduled to be migrated to Cloudflare Magic Transit by June 2026.
Our Ashburn, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Germany locations feature an additional layer of custom in-line hardware DDoS mitigation using XDP (eXpress Data Path) for application-layer filtering.
